From the heart of the historic center to the elegant streets of Miraflores and the bohemian atmosphere of Barranco, Lima reveals a different side of Peru at every turn.

This tour has been designed for travelers who want to discover the capital of Peru through its history, architecture, culture, and contemporary identity. Throughout the experience, we will explore some of Lima’s most important landmarks while discovering how the city has evolved from an ancient pre-Hispanic settlement into one of South America’s most fascinating capitals.

Lima city tour – Where history meets the Pacific

Historic Center of Lima – The Heart of the Capital: Our experience begins in the Historic Center of Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important areas for understanding the city's colonial past.
We will explore the surroundings of the Main Square, where impressive colonial buildings, historic churches, and elegant balconies reveal the architectural influence of the Spanish period.
From here, we will discover some of the city's most representative landmarks while learning about the events and traditions that shaped Lima throughout the centuries.
Plaza Mayor – Where Lima's History Unfolds: We continue to the Plaza Mayor, considered the historical heart of Lima.
Surrounded by important buildings such as the Government Palace, the Cathedral, and the Archbishop's Palace, the square provides an opportunity to appreciate the architectural character of the city's historic center.
Our guide will share stories about Lima's colonial origins and its transformation into the political and cultural center of Peru.
San Francisco Convent and Catacombs: We will continue with a visit to the San Francisco Convent, one of the most remarkable examples of colonial religious architecture in Lima.
Inside the complex, we will discover beautifully decorated cloisters, religious artwork, and the famous underground catacombs, which provide a fascinating insight into the history of colonial Lima.
Miraflores – Lima by the Pacific: We then leave the historic center and travel toward Miraflores, one of the city's most modern and popular districts.
Located along the Pacific coast, Miraflores offers a completely different perspective of Lima. We will explore its coastal surroundings and enjoy views of the ocean while discovering the modern side of the capital.
Depending on the itinerary, we may visit iconic areas such as Parque del Amor, known for its colorful mosaics and ocean views.
Barranco – The Artistic Side of Lima: Our final stop takes us to Barranco, a neighborhood known for its artistic atmosphere, colorful streets, historic houses, and connection with Lima's cultural scene.
We will explore the surroundings of the famous Bridge of Sighs and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of one of the city's most distinctive neighborhoods.
Barranco offers a final glimpse of Lima's contemporary identity, where history, art, architecture, and local life come together.
After completing our visits, we will return to the designated drop-off point, concluding our exploration of the Peruvian capital.
